This is a turn up on the day event but if you can let us know in advance through the google form link below it helps team managers know who to look out for on the day, especially when recording names as athletes finish races. Once you are at the event numbers can be collected from the team tent. Remember to bring pins. Thank you to all who have already submitted this form.
A Great day for Falkirk Victoria Harriers with some brilliant running through all the age groups.
In the U15 Girl race Charlotte Horne led home for the Vics, finishing in a fantastic 3rd place in a time 6.52 over the course. Katie Hedges and Chloe Davies battled it out together to finish 25th and 26th in a time 7.26. Resulting in a 3rd place position for the girls team with 54 Points. Also in the field we had Sarah-Jane Kane (50th in 8.00) and Lucie Gibson (76th in 8.22).
Luke Culliton finished brilliantly in the U15 Boys Race with yet another 3rd place in at time of 6.02.
In the U17 Women’s Race Katie Christie produced one of the best results of the day with a medal winning race placing 2nd in a time of 11.35, Caitlyn Christie came home 14th in 12.16 and Erin Hendry 19th in 12.33. Together the Trio placed 2nd overall in the Women’s team race scoring each of them a medal with 35 points. Narrowly beating Aberdeen AC who scored 36 points.
In the U17 Mens Gregor Hunter produced a strong run to place 33rd in 10.58.
Fiona Matheson Placed 72nd in the Women’s Senior Race and was also the 1st M60 athlete in the field with a time of 16.15.
In the last race of the day Scott Stirling continued his form being the first Vic across the line in 9th Place with a time of 12.12, next was Kane Elliot in 11th place but he was also the 3rd U20 athlete across the line and medalled with a time of 12.19, Ben Stevenson ran a good time of 12.53 to place 44th and Calum Little 80th in 13.38. Together they managed 5th in Mens team event with 144 Points. Other Athletes in the race included Harris Pentecost (104th in 13.48), Euan McCallum (255th in 15.39)and James McLaren (390th in 18.37)
