For the last 55 years Falkirk Victoria Harriers have hosted the Round The Houses at Grangemouth Stadium. This is a very important race which is close to our hearts and on the day it’s a great experience to be part of.

This Event which hosts multiple Championships within the one race is an event that we take great pride in supporting and people from all over the UK travel to take part.

This Event includes the following

• Scottish Students 10k Road Championship
• East District 10k Road Championship
• British Masters Championship

This email is to ask for your help in any way you can to support this event to ensure it is as successful as the last 55 years. We require approximately 100 volunteers to support the day and if your child is over 16 years of age they can also support this event. There are Marshall roles, Declaration, & Admin roles to name but a few and all we require is a few hours of your time to give back to the Club.

Thanks to all of you who have let us know you would like to compete in this event. This is a reminder for all other runners wishing to compete to let us know by tomorrow evening, Monday 6^th March, at the latest. It would be great if we could have a few more runners, especially those willing to run a long leg in the female team!

The famous Edinburgh to North Berwick 20-mile race, which was revived last year, will take place again on Saturday 6th May, starting on Portobello promenade at 9:45 am.

Entries (250 places) will open on Monday evening (6th March) at 9pm, via EntryCentral. Fee is £20.

As most of you are aware the Stadium is set for potential closure and we need everyone to know that the Stadium must stay. This is critical for the Health and wellbeing of the children in our community and we need to protect the future of this building . The Stadium has seen past and present stars of Athletics train and compete at this Stadium and is home to our budding stars of the future and to lose this building would be a crushing blow for Athletics.

We need to work together for the future of the Stadium.
