Dunblane Road Race: Sunday 26th May 2024
Entries open 8pm Friday 1st December 2023
You may want to know that the Dunblane Road Race takes place on Sunday 26th May 2024. The day kicks off at 12 noon with the 2km Youth race (9-15 years), followed by the adults 12km race beginning at 1pm.
Entries open on Friday 1st December at 8pm and early bird offer available till Feb 2024

The start and finish lines for the adult race are in the heart of Dunblane High Street and runners will enjoy an undulating and scenic 12km route taking them past some of Dunblane’s most iconic landmarks including the golden post box, stunning backdrop of the DoubleTree Dunblane Hydro, through the beautiful village of Kinbuck and the picturesque countryside views along the Auchenlay Road before coming back into Dunblane again. This friendly and challenging event is a fantastic addition to the sporting calendar that’s suitable for all running abilities.
As with previous years, all proceeds will go to our local charities and good causes including the Dunblane Centre.

It’s a short (3k) fun filled race with a bit of everything thrown in: a short but steep climb, walls, burn crossings, bog wading and fields! There will be a kid’s fun run, fancy dress is most welcome and hot soup is provided post race to help you warm up. Entries are now open on SI Entries, please come along and join in the fun!

The Club will be providing support at events in the form of a fully kitted First Aid Kit at any event we attend that is out with our training facilities for our Athletes. We will also carry sanitary products for our females at these events so please reach out to us if you require any support.
All, Lynda will be at the Stadium on Tuesday 28th November at the Stadium from 6.30pm with kit for sale and if anyone wants to order kit in time for Christmas this can be done on Tuesday also.
This is a reminder that the second event in the East District League takes place on Saturday 18th November at Dundee.

Thank you to all athletes who have indicated your availability via Google form. For other athletes this is a turn up on the day event but if you can let us know in advance through the google form link below it helps team managers know who to look out for on the day.

Once you are at the event numbers can be collected from the team tent. If you still have your number (11) from the last League event please bring it along but also remember to let a team manager know you are there. Remember to bring pins.

This is just a wee reminder to everyone else that the closing date for this event is 5 p.m. on Thursday 16th November.
