Falkirk vics were heavily represented today in Glasgow at the National Relay Champs in Scotstoun Stadium with teams across the age ranges!

The chat I heard amongst the young athletes was full of enthusiasm and excitement for the first ever medley relay.

Our u13 boys Kostas, Ben, Callan & Thomas were first to pick up a medal with 2nd place in the 200/600/200/600 relay. They were followed by the senior men Ben, Scott & Kane in the 3x800m relay. Then our u17 girls Chloe, Isabella & Katie finished 3rd in the 3x800m relay. The final race of the day saw our u15 boys Cahal, Ray, Ethan & Hamish come 2nd in the 300/800/200/600 relay. 🥈🥈🥈🥉

Missing out on medals but displaying brilliant performances, team spirit & effort were our u13 girls Aine, Neve, Kirsty & Skye. U15 boys Aaron, Ethan, Daniel & Luke. U15 girls Emily, Aimee, Josie & Corri. U17 boys Alex, Hamish, Flávio, Liam, Callum, Elliot & Daniel. u17 girls Lois, Lucy, Chloe, Lara. Senior men Andrew, Callum, Luke & Ben. Amazing running from all of you. Looks like we need some senior woman for next year!!

Our u12 superteam last month qualified for the National Superteam Finals which took place today have come out on top finishing an a very impressive first place 🥇🥇🥇🥇.

Youngsters Kostas, Kirsty, Remy & James took part in 4 events today at Scotstoun, the 4×100 relay, 75m spring, turbo javelin & long jump – running, jumping & throwing themselves to the top of the leaderboard.

Very well done!

Well done everyone, this was a qualifying standard event so each and everyone of you who took part should be proud of the hard work you’ve put in to get there.

Dear Member, This is a polite reminder to set up your Direct Debit payment system at the Stadium as there are a few Athletes still paying at the door and swiping their card.

In a few weeks they will be introducing a set up fee for the Direct Debit which will cost you an approximate £14 as a one off fee on top of the Direct Debit charge.

We encourage you all to get your forms completed and set up as soon as you can please.

They also have the ability to pause your account if for some reason you can not make the track and this will mean that you will not lose any monies if you are not able to come to the Stadium at any time over a certain period.

Please be aware that our July Open Graded is now open for entries.
