FALKIRK in Liverpool

SIXTEEN speedy Falkirk Victoria Harriers athletes made the trip down to Liverpool’s Sefton Park for the Liverpool Cross Challenge on 22/11/2025.

Lead by the Happy coaches Jerome, David & Blair & their parents, the party of 40 enjoyed a weekend with hotel stay, gym visit, tasty looking food and LOTS OF MUD. Although on reviewing the photos I’m sure it was much wetter underfoot last year.

We had 3 u15 boys in the 188 man race, where the youngsters seriously impressed with Ben U finishing in 36th place, Thomas M closely behind in 56th & Hamish G following in 121st.

A strong group of 5 u17 men ran in the 199 man race, where, almost like a training session Harrison McMillan, Ray Taylor & Rory McMillan ran in unison finishing 19th, 21st & 22nd with only 3 seconds between them all. Luke Sedman was next to cross the line in 59th place & Cahal McAtarsney followed in 134th.

Emily Christie single handedly flew the Falkirk Flag for our u17 girls. She finished a strong 51st out of 117. The 3 u20 woman all had strong runs, Isabella Ogg finishing 54th, Lucie Gibson 80th & Charlotte Horne 88th.

Our 2 u20 men Luke Culliton, 87th & Callum Hendry 121st both running well.

We had 2 seniors running the 9.8k distance, the start line of the senior men’s race was a whopping 919 deep. Amazing finish from Scott Stirling saw him finishing in an impressive 26th place(25.29), closely followed by Calum Little in 62nd(27.16).
