National Short Course XC Lanark

News in from Lanark where Falkirk Victoria Harriers were represented across the age groups!

U15 girls team finished 11th with S Robertson 25th, A McAtarsney 36th, M Blair 49th & E Shepherd 64th.

Our u15 boys grabbed a podium position silver medal with B Upfold 6th, T Mitchell 16th & H Gillies 26th making up the winning team, also running was D Harris 65th.

U17 girls sadly did not have enough runners to make a team but Emily Christie 8th & Lara Crawford 28th displayed some strong running.

Golden u17 boys triumphed when they were awarded the Short Course Champions, topping the podium in Gold position were Rory MacMillan 3rd, Harrison MacMillan 6th & Ray Taylor 14th, also running was Cahal McAtarsney 56th.

Our seniors & masters woman were well represented with 10 runners, the team finished 10th, with Isabella Ogg 44th, Katie Christie 46th, Lucie Gibson 75th & Fiona Mathieson 87th. Also running were Katie Hedges 98th, Niamh Brown 107th, Katie Bennie 146th, Karen McAllister 230th, Janet Murray 233rd & Debz Graham 259th.

Senior & masters men team finished 12th, Scott Stirling 11th, Callum Hendry 30th, Luke Culliton 54th & Grant Mathieson 249th made up the 4 to count for team points, Michael McQuaid 262nd also ran.

In our senior & master races, as well as being 4th counters in their teams, Fiona Mathieson finished 1st woman in the v60 age group & Grant Mathieson finished 2nd man in the V60 age group.
